I asked my 92 yr. old dad last week that out of all the places he has traveled around the world, did he have a happy place, a place he felt at home and free?

“Charleroi” he immediately answered.

“Charleroi?” I questioned. “Where the heck is that”?

“Pennsylvania”, he replied as a gentle smile relived that memory once again. He tells me the story when he was four years old and he and grandpa drove through that town..ok, maybe he was six, he says, but he vividly remembers the feeling of happy, and free. When I asked how he remembers this so well and to respond so quickly with such conviction. He softly replied, because I have thought of it often.

It’s been a year since my mom passed and now we get to spend special time with our dad. Spending a week caring for my dad was one of the most enjoyable and happy experiences in my life. I told him that making his meals and taking care of him brought me far more joy than he could ever imagine.

I don’t know how I get off the subject of the inner Corset and pelvic floor, oh, I know why, because this is just one of the benefits. To be able to enjoy life to its fullest because your not worried about your own pain or other bothersome issues. To feel good all the time and not just after going to the gym or after a massage and most importantly, to give you the strength to carry on!!!

Realizing after 57 years of life, that letting go and letting God means more and more to me each day, to take one day at a time and visit your happy place often.

My happy place is Italy. The second time I was there (first time was briefly in Rome) I stayed in Rapallo, south of Portofino and it spoke to me from the moment I walked off the train into the small village by the sea.

Because I have visited this happy place often in my brain I knew that someday I would live there. So now it’s happening. My book has been transcribed to Italian and will sell within a week on Amazon Italy.

And now, here a view from my home office terrace in Rapallo, Italy starting September 2018. This is where I will learn Italian and plan workshops for the women’s Corset Retreats to Tuscany. Hmmmm a pretty good view to film a few segments for the ‘No Pause Menopause’ show coming soon.

BY THE WAY!! If you bought 7 Secrets to a Sexy Silhouette paperback book, you can gift it to a girlfriend and get the kindle version for yourself at only $2.99. ❤️  I would love your feedback if you have read it. Grazie Mille!
